A 25-year-old man has been charged with murder and extradited from Tasmania to Queensland. (AAP)

A man has been extradited from Tasmania to Queensland charged with murder in relation to an altercation two years ago.

Police said the 25-year-old from Ravenswood was initially charged with grievous bodily harm following a 2019 fight with another man in Mareeba, far north Queensland.
