Man dies in single car crash as gardai appeal for witnesses

Gardai Garda Car crash Dunboyne St James Hospital

A man in his 40s has died in a single car crash in Meath.

The crash occurred at approximately 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon near Dunboyne. The was driver was the only person involved in the crash.

He was taken from the scene to St James's Hospital where was pronounced dead. The scene is currently closed off for a technical examination.
