A motorcyclist has tragically died after being involved in a one-vehicle crash on a country road in Moray.
The alarm was raised at around 10.30am on Saturday, June 4, following reports of an accident between the B9012 at Upper Knockando and the B9010 at Dallas.
First responders raced to the scene while an air ambulance was also called to attend.
But the 27-year-old rider was tragically pronounced dead a short time later.
Enquiries into the cause of the crash remain ongoing however officers have since reopened the road.
Investigators are keen to speak to fellow motorists who may have seen the biker on his blue Yamaha R6 motorcycle before the accident near Tapp Farm.
Sergeant Peter Henderson of the Road Policing Department said, “Our thoughts are with the male’s family and friends at this sad time.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of this collision and I appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the vehicle to get in touch.
"Likewise if anyone believes they may have captured dashcam footage of the vehicle which could assist our enquiries I urge you to come forward."
