Police are appealing for information after a man died in a crash on the M4 near Cardiff. The crash happened at around 12.15pm on Sunday between junctions 30 and 32 eastbound and involved a grey Mercedes vehicle.
South Wales Police say that the car collided with the central reservation before coming to a halt on the hard shoulder. They have now confirmed that a a 69-year-old man from Fife, Scotland, died at the scene.
Police originally described the incident as a medical emergency. The motorway was closed in both directions while emergency services attended.
