Man dies after being airlifted to hospital from luxury Scots resort

A man has died in hospital after becoming unwell at a luxury Scots resort.

Emergency crews were called to the facility in Portavadie, Argyll and Bute, at 1.30pm on Thursday, June 29 in response to reports a man had taken unwell within. Medics attended and the 31-year-old was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.

Police have confirmed that the casualty died in hospital yesterday, Saturday, July 1. Officers say there are no apparent suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
