A man remains in hospital after he was attacked by a group carrying weapons in Rutherglen.
A 29 year-old was targeted as a black car deliberately drove towards him before a group exited the vehicle wielding weapons.
He was rushed to hospital where he remains and is being treated for serious injuries.

The incident happened on May 18, at around 9.20pm on Skye Road, Rutherglen.
Officers are appealing for information or dash-cam footage which may be able to help with their ongoing investigations.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Detectives are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted in Rutherglen.
"A 29-year-old man was taken to hospital after a black coloured car was deliberately driven at him on Skye Road round 9.20 pm on Thursday, 18 May 2023.
"He was then assaulted by a number of persons who exited the vehicle carrying weapons.
"Detective Constable Cameron Owen, of Lanarkshire CID, said: “The victim remains in hospital where he is receiving treatment for serious injuries.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area to get in touch. I would also appeal to motorists who have dash-cam footage that may have captured something which could prove vital to our ongoing enquiries to make contact with us.
