Man City XI vs Leicester City: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for Premier League

Kevin De Bruyne starts for Manchester City against Leicester.

De Bruyne is back in the City starting XI for the first time since the Manchester derby and lines up in midfield alongside Mateo Kovacic and Bernardo Silva.

Kyle Walker returns after missing the 1-1 draw with Everton on Boxing Day due to illness but he is only on the bench and Rico Lewis starts at right-back, as City bid to end 2024 on a positive note.

Pep Guardiola has named Nathan Ake alongside Manuel Akanji in central defence, with Josko Gvardiol at left-back.

Phil Foden and Savinho flank Erling Haaland in attack.

Guardiola makes just one change to the City team that drew with Everton, as De Bruyne returns in place of Jeremy Doku.

There is still no start for James McAtee, who is again on the bench.

Jack Grealish is on the City bench but Guardiola is still missing Ederson, Matheus Nunes and John Stones.
