Manchester City have already landed Erling Haaland and can focus on the rest of their summer transfer business after sealing a fourth Premier League title in five years.
Man City have never stood still after winning the Premier League and Pep Guardiola will want to rejig his squad, especially in midfield with Fernandinho leaving this summer. Guardiola knows Liverpool will mount another strong challenge next season after pushing City until the last seconds of a dramatic 2021-22 season, and is determined to be ready for Jurgen Klopp's side.
Mirror Sport has the latest City transfer news, including updates on Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling's futures.
Jesus admits future "uncertain" as suitors circle
Gabriel Jesus admits his future is uncertain, despite helping Manchester City retain the title, with Tottenham rivalling Arsenal for him. Arsenal thought they were in pole position to land Jesus and the Brazil striker has told ESPN Brazil that he does not know what will happen this summer.
"About my future, it's still uncertain," he said. "I have a contract with City and I have already expressed my desire to the City people and to my agent. I have in my head very clear what I want."
Antonio Conte wants Spurs to make some big signings to convince him to stay after qualifying them for the Champions League and they have also joined the race for Jesus. The have an advantage over Arsenal because they can offer Jesus Champions League football after pipping them for fourth.
Ilkay Gundogan contract update
Ilkay Gundogan has achieved immortality at Manchester City after coming off the bench to score twice and secure the Blues their fourth title in five years.
But his heroics may not be enough to earn him a new deal and City are reportedly still prepared to let him leave when his current agreement expires next summer.
Sports Illustrated claims City are still looking to sign a midfielder this summer and will not make any fresh attempts to hang on to Gundogan. City may even be open to offers for the 31-year-old this summer.

Setback for Arsenal's hopes of signing Sterling
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is keen to be reunited with Raheem Sterling at the Emirates, having worked him at Manchester City.
However Arsenal's failure to qualify for the Champions League has severely dented their appeal and now The Telegraph are reporting that Arteta has no chance of signing the England star.
Sterling is only interested in leaving City for a club in the Champions League and one challenging for silverware.
Sterling is out of contract at City next summer and is keeping his options open as he decides his next move.
