Manchester City have 'informed' Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland that they will better any offer than what he gets from elsewhere, in their attempts to win the race for his signature.
That is according to a report by Sport, who claim that City are working hard to ensure they add him to their ranks ahead of next season. The €75million release clause in Haaland's contract is set to become active this summer and a whole host of clubs are desperate to sign him.
Haaland, who will turn 22 in July, is one of the most highly-rated players in the world right now and his list of suitors is huge. Clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked with his signature in recent months.
