Manchester City resume their Premier League campaign at home to Brentford on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola’s side have won their opening three games of the season and will be strong favourites to extend that to four this weekend.
City, who have something of a habit of starting the season relatively slowly, do not appear to have skipped a beat over the course of the summer break.
Erling Haaland is in fine fettle and many of their stars involved at Euro 2024 are yet to hit their straps, which is a terrifying prospect for their title rivals.
Still, the fixtures will soon pile up thick and fast, so Guardiola will no doubt need his whole squad available.
With that in mind, here’s a look at the latest Manchester City injuries….
Nathan Ake
Nathan Ake was forced off during the clash between the Netherlands and Germany on Tuesday night and will soon be assessed by City staff.
“It looks like a muscle injury for Nathan Ake, though I am not certain," said Dutch boss Ronald Koeman.
Potential return date: Unknown
Rodri
Spain hero Rodri is yet to have played this season after suffering a hamstring injury in the Euro 2024 final against England.
He was, however, on the bench for City’s 3-1 win over West Ham before the break, perhaps suggesting a return is imminent.
Potential return date: Saturday 14 September vs Brentford
Phil Foden
Phil Foden has mustered only 45 minutes this season and pulled out of the most recent England squad due to illness.
It remains to be seen if he makes the Brentford game.
Potential return date: Unknown
Savinho
Summer signing Savinho missed the win over West Ham but Guardiola has recently sounded hopeful the Brazilian will soon return.
Potential return date: Saturday 14 September vs Brentford
Oscar Bobb
Winger Oscar Bobb was seemingly set for a starring role at City this season but saw his progress derailed by a broken leg before a ball was kicked.
The Norway international is believed to be facing up to four months out of action.
