FA Cup semi-final details confirmed after transport headache
It’s been confirmed that Manchester City will play Liverpool in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday April 16, with kick-off at 3.30pm.
This comes after calls for the tie to be moved to a venue closer to both clubs with no trains linking Liverpool and Manchester to London over Easter weekend.

Dias sends positive message amid hamstring recovery
Defender Ruben Dias has delivered an upbeat message on his Instagram account as the 24-year-old continues to recover from a hamstring injury.
The Portugal international is nearing a return, but Pep Guardiola has warned against rushing him back too soon and risk losing him for the rest of the season.
Dias has been Guardiola’s first choice centre-half since arriving for £64.3m from Benfica in September 2020.
The 2020/21 Premier League player of the year seems raring to go once fully-fit ahead of a crucial run-in period, if his message is anything to go by.
Haaland tailor-made for City, says Gundogan
Midfield maestro Ilkay Gundogan has suggested Erling Haaland would be a great fit in Manchester City’s set-up.
The Borussia Dortmund striker has been strongly linked with a move to the Etihad and the Manchester Evening News understands the club are frontrunners in the race to sign him.
City have been without a number nine since the exit of Sergio Aguero and Guardiola has been criticised by some for not replacing the club legend.
Gundogan described the 21-year-old as having “big qualities who fits into every team."
