Man charged after 35-year-old woman found dead in Scottish Borders town

A man has been charged in connection with the death of Stacey Hogg (Image: Police Scotland/The Hogg Family)

A WOMAN found dead in Hawick has been named as Stacey Hogg.

The 35-year-old, who was from the Borders town, was found at a property on McLagan Drive on Thursday morning, with police called out at around 7.20am.

A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with her death.

He is due to appear at Selkirk Sheriff Court on Friday, 26 June, 2026.

Hogg’s family has requested privacy, but have released an image of their lost loved one.
