A man has been arrested after a disturbance in the retail area of Edinburgh Airport on Thursday morning.
Emergency services were called to the departure lounge around 9.30am yesterday following the disturbance.
A 44-year-old man was arrested in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 9.30pm on Thursday, 6 April, to a report of a disturbance in the retail area at Edinburgh airport.
“A 44-year-old man was arrested in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Edinburgh Airport declined to comment on the matter.
