A man has been arrested after a 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted on a Stagecoach bus.
A 22-year-old is being held by police on suspicion of sexual assault. The offence was reported to Merseyside Police at around 5.20pm on Monday, April 3, after it happened on a number 17 Stagecoach bus that was travelling on St Domingo Road, Everton.
It was reported that a 13-year-old girl was the victim of the sexual offence and the suspect left the bus and walked towards Kirkdale Vale.

Previously speaking about the incident, detective inspector Chris Saidi said: "This would have been very traumatic for the young girl and we are determined to find the person responsible. Everyone should be able to use public transport without the fear of being subjected to an incident like this."
