A 51-year-old man has sadly died following a serious car accident in Seacroft.
Around 6.48am on Tuesday, December 13, a crash happened on Easterly Road and Boggart Hill Drive involving a motorbike and van. The road was closed for a number of hours.
A black Ford Transit van and a Triumph motorbike crashed. A man in his 50s was left seriously injured and rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. West Yorkshire Police have confirmed the injured man has now died.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicious of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He was taken into custody, but has been released under investigation.
WYP officers would now like to speak to any witnesses who saw the crash or know information about the incident. Confirming the details of what happened, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police can confirm that a 51-year-old man who was involved in a collision in the Seacroft area of Leeds yesterday (Tuesday, 13 December) has died in hospital.
"The incident occurred at 6.48am yesterday (Tuesday, 13 December) at the junction of Easterly Road and Boggart Hill Drive, Seacroft, when a black Ford Transit van was involved in a collision with a Triumph motorcycle.
"Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses. Anyone who witnessed the collision or the movements of either vehicle in the time leading up to it, particularly anyone with relevant dashcam footage, is asked to contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team via 101 quoting reference 13220682676 or online via the live chat facility.
"The driver of the van, a 21-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has been released under investigation."
