A 23-YEAR-OLD man has died after a crash in East Ayrshire.
The crash happened earlier this month on August 14 on the A77 near Galston and involved a white Ford Transit and a single-decker Stagecoach bus.
The bus driver was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with life-threatening injuries following the incident near to the junction with the A719. Police have confirmed the 23-year-old man has now died.
The transit driver, a 42-year-old man, was also taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries. His condition is described as stable.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: 2Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and anyone with information, including dash-cam footage, who has not already spoken to officers is asked to get in touch."
