A man has been arrested after a serious crash on Queens Drive.
Emergency services attended the five car crash, on Queens Drive, West Derby, at around 10.50pm, on Saturday, September 17. A Ford C-Max, a Ford Focus, a Honda Jazz, a Vauxhall Grandland and a Volkswagen Golf were all involved in the crash.
Merseyside fire and rescue service said people from four of the cars were unharmed and conscious and breathing when they arrived. However one person was stuck in their car for medical reasons.

Fire fighters carried outa rapid extrication plan through the driver’s side door and the driver was handed over to the care of paramedics. Police have since confirmed that a man, in his 70s, suffered facial injuries in the crash.
A man, 21, from Bootle, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving, driving while unfit through drugs, and drug driving. He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "We were called at 10.50pm on Saturday 17 th September to reports of a multi vehicle road traffic collision involving a Ford C-Max, a Ford Focus, a Honda Jazz, a Vauxhall Grandland and a Volkswagen Golf on Queens Drive/Mill Lane in West Derby.
"A 21 year-old man from the Bootle area was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving, driving while unfit through drugs, and drug driving. He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
"A male driver, in his 70s, suffered a facial injury. Enquiries into the collision are ongoing."
