Malo Gusto will be spending the next few months back in England after suffering an injury playing for Lyon just a few weeks after signing for Chelsea.
The full-back was January acquisition number seven but he was immediately loaned back to continue his development at Lyon. In just his second game back in France he suffered a hamstring injury and Chelsea have now confirmed he will be doing his rehabilitation at London Cobham.
Their statement read: The right-back, who signed for Chelsea in January, returned on loan to his previous club Lyon but having now been ruled out of action, he is expected to remain in England for the next eight to 10 weeks under supervision of our medical staff.

Before the injury, the 19-year-old added two more appearances to the 15 he made for Lyon this season prior to his signing for Chelsea.
Chelsea agreed a £26.3million fee for Gusto to join the club in the winter window, but one of the key terms of the deal being agreed upon by Lyon was that that he would spend the remainder of the season back in France on loan.
Following his return to Lyon after completing his transfer to Chelsea, Gusto played the full 90 minutes against Stade Brestois but was an early withdrawal in the proceeding game away to Troyes. Lyon manager Laurent Blanc then confirmed he would be absent for Lyon's next game against Lens.
"We have a problem with Malo," he said. "He injured his hamstring a few days ago and he recovered. He didn't reinjure himself; it wasn't a tear.
"[But] he still has discomfort. You must treat it well but it's not much. I hope that OL and Chelsea will show common sense. In any case, he's not fit to play a Ligue 1 match, it's better to wait. But he could be on the bench."
The Blues appear to have taken the decision, likely agreed upon with Lyon, that it is better for Gusto to recover from his issue at Cobham in an attempt to get to the root of his injury.
