Making too many life decisions around immigration timelines: Redditor says 'Canada does not owe me PR, coming back to India'

At a time when the waiting line for a US Green Card is only getting longer, the situation in Canada is not very different either as a Redditor's post on coming back to India has gone viral. The Redditor came to Canada in 2023 and has been working in a managerial position in IT, but announced the decision to return to India on not getting Permanent Residency in Canada. The Redditor explained that they did everything by the book and really hoped to settle in Canada but offered the realization: Canada does not owe me PR. The post went viral as many social media users lauded the mature understanding of the situation and some also shared their similar experience.
