A major road between Greater Manchester and South Yorkshire has been closed completely following a collision.
Traffic is building and drivers are being told to 'expect delays' around the A628 Woodhead Pass, which is shut in both directions due to a crash involving a car and a van. The incident took place between Manchester Road (Tintwistle) and B6105 (Glossop Turn Off, Crowden).
There is also congestion to roads through Hadfield, Padfield and Glossop as traffic diverts from the closure, according to online traffic reporting system Inrix.

The event is expected to clear between 20:00 and 20:15, according to National Highways.
A National Highways spokesperson said: "This is a two vehicle collision involving a car and a van which has closed the A628. Police are managing the traffic locally.
"The vehicles are currently awaiting recovery and we will be attending to treat an oil spillage and make the road surface safe before the road can be reopened."
Derbyshire Police have been contacted for more information.
