UPDATE: The road has now reopened.
A major road into Glasgow has been partially closed to traffic due to a five-car crash.
The northbound carriageway on the M77 is currently restricted at Junction 6 at the Kingswell Interchange as emergency services deal with the incident.
Traffic is building up on approach with delays of up to 35 minutes for motorists reported as of 8.02am.

Police are currently in attendance with severity of the crash currently unknown.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Officers received a report of a five-vehicle crash which happened at 7.10am on Monday, November 28."
Traffic Scotland said: "The northbound carriageway remains restricted due to a collision police are in attendance traffic is building up on approach.
"Current delay approximately 35 minutes."
