Bolton’s historic Yates’ pub is set for a major refurbishment and relaunch as a Slug and Lettuce bar. Plans submitted this week outline major internal changes for the listed building on Bradshawgate where generations of the town’s pub-goers have enjoyed nights out.
The proposals include the removal of the internal podium, stage and the reconfiguration of the downstairs bar and server area. Pub group Stonegate also wish to introduce Slug and Lettuce ‘thematic features’ such as timber rafts and seating booths.
