She famously sang about the 'juice' in one of her biggest hits but Grammy Award-winning singer and rapper Lizzo was full of praise for the food when she arrived in Manchester. The American megastar had been feeling unwell but was cheered up no end after getting a takeaway bag from Northern Quarter cafe Gooey.
"I got the bag," Lizzo enthused as she shared about her meal on TikTok ahead of her concert at Manchester's AO Arena . Excitedly holding up her order she explained that, after feeling under the weather, she was finally feeling like herself.
The vegan musician explained into the camera: "So I'm in Manchester and I haven't been feeling well. I finally feel like myself and this place called Gooey has donuts and pastries and stuff and I also saw they have these amazing sandos."
