Maharashtra: Will be happy if a Sainik becomes CM, says Uddhav Thackeray

MUMBAI: Embattled CM Uddhav Thackeray made an emotional appeal to the rebel faction in the party, saying he was willing to step down from both the posts of chief minister and Shiv Sena chief if they came and told him to go.

He also said that he would be happy to accept another leader from the Shiv Sena as chief minister, a reference to rebel leader Eknath Shinde.
