NAGPUR: Asian boxing champion Alfiya Khan Pathan arrived in the city after more than 6 months. Within 3 days of her arrival, she won the State Elite Boxing Championship on Monday.
She played three bouts in the state meet and all the bouts did not go beyond the first round. The southpaw's presence in the ring was so dominating that her rivals felt the heat from the word go. In the final round, the city boxer defeated Priyanka Khandare in less than a minute.
