PUNE: The kin of victims of unnatural deaths who test positive for Covid-19 posthumously are eligible to seek compensation of Rs 50,000, senior officials from state disaster management said on Monday.
As many as 78 people in Maharashtra who died due to hanging, electrocution, homicide, snake-bite, poisoning, drowning and road accidents in January were counted among the Covid casualties after their nasal swabs showed positivity.
