Maharashtra: Public bench, Parkinson’s device win science award

INSPIRE Pune

PUNE: A rolling shutter-type public bench, a tremor profiling device for patients of Parkinson’s, a broom or brush cleaner are among 31 projects by students that won this year’s state Inspire awards under the department of science and technology. Six of these projects are from Pune district.

Projects were based on problem statements in society and students came up with innovative projects which were upgraded from district to state-level competitions over one year.
