PUNE: Public health expert Dr Subhash Salunkhe on Tuesday advised the state to prepare for managing the peak of Covid-19 cases in rural areas, after most of the cities passed through it.
"The next four weeks would be crucial for rural areas and the local administrations should ensure that there is less crowding. A strict and close watch should be kept on the test positivity rate and hospitalisations in the state," Salunkhe, the national Covid task force member, said.
