MUMBAI: Covid-19 fatalities in Maharashtra fell to a single digit at six on Sunday, for the first time after January 10, even as Mumbai reported zero Covid deaths on Sunday, the fourth time this month.
The state reported 1,437 fre-sh cases, taking the cumulative case count to 78,58,431. This was the second day of reporting less than 2,000 cases. The six deaths have taken the state’s overall toll to 16,422. Active cases too came down to 16,422. Mumbai saw less than 200 (167) fresh detections.
