PUNE: For the first time, Maharashtra Intermediate Drawing Exam 2021 will be held in a proctored online mode on February 22 and 23. For the last two years, all such examinations were suspended due to the pandemic. Registrations will begin on Saturday and end on February 20.
“Unlike other years, when the exam was open for all students who had passed the elementary drawing exam, this year, it is open only for Std X students, Art foundation course students, and Art Teacher Diploma students. Since there were no exams in the past two years, we do not want the students to miss out on the additional marks that they can get in the board mark sheet if they qualify the intermediate exams. In case there are students who do not have a smartphone, laptop or internet connection, we will make arrangements in the school where they can appear for the exam maintaining all Covid-19 safety protocols. The students need to draw and scan the drawing and upload it in the exam portal,” Sunil Borle, secretary of Pune district Art Teacher Association, said.
