BHIWANDI: Seven buffaloes were killed and 15 others injured after some unidentified persons slit their throats and cut their leg veins in Bhiwandi on Sunday early morning.
The Nizampura police probing case suspect professional rivalry as a motive behind the incident.
The incident came to light in Bandar mohalla area in Bhiwandi on Sunday morning when staff of buffalo tabela noticed some buffaloes dead while some injured. The staff informed to owner Arham Momin who alerted to local Nizampura police.
The police said they have registered an offence against unidentified persons and are further investigating the case.
