Latrell Mitchell has marked his NRL return by spearheading injury-ravaged South Sydney to a nail-biting 20-14 win over the Sydney Roosters, a triumph Wayne Bennett hailed as one of the proudest victories of his 48-year coaching career.
In his first game since last July, Mitchell stood tall to drag a depleted Rabbitohs side off the canvas and snatch a famous win at Accor Stadium on Friday night.
