Christmas at the Courtyard is returning to Kilmainham today, with an action packed itinerary of events taking place over the next month.
The upcoming events will all take place in a palatial glass orangery, complete with a towering Christmas tree, twinkling chandeliers and bespoke garlands. The final panel was installed this week on the ‘glass mansion’, which once featured in golfer Rory McIlroy's wedding, rendering the project complete.
The itinerary for the next month includes a festive lunch with Pippa O’Connor, dining experiences every Thursday and Friday, as well as highly anticipated brunches with Ireland’s most famous drag queens.

Co-founder Avril Bannerton said of the project: “There will be an abundance of festive fun, fine dining and fantastic entertainment for everyone 18 and over. Our opening weekend is now sold out, so due to ticket demand, we are now hosting 25 different dining and entertainment events over our 4-week run.
She added: “This magical Christmas party experience has only a short run this year from November 24 until December 18, so it is essential to pre-book tickets to avoid disappointment.”
The festivities kick off tonight with a lavish 6 course dining experience for ticketholders. Bubbles will be available on arrival, as well as enjoyable live music from groups such as The Spring Break and Victory Dolls.
The ornate glass orangery measures an impressive 7.5 metres in height and sits directly in the centre of the courtyard. The structure is also heated to keep visitors cosy during the festivities.
The cost of tickets depends on the individual event taking place in the glass pavilion, starting at €25. A full itinerary of upcoming celebrations is available on the Christmas in the Courtyard website.
