Madonna urged to realise 'surgery won't stop ageing' and told to 'take a break'

Madonna needs to accept that the ageing process will not stop by plastic surgery and that she needs to take a break from going under the knife, an expert has revealed.

Things took a terrifying turn for the Queen of Pop, who was rushed to the hospital with a "serious bacterial infection". After spending days in ICU, the Material Girl singer is now on the road to recovery at her New York City home.

However, a celebrity personal trainer has claimed in order for the 64 year old to recover fully, her team should not be dismissing the severity of her health.

Trainer Ramona Braganza explained that this might be difficult as those around her would most likely be put off by telling the icon the truth, given her celebrity status.

"Madonna is somebody who seems very much in control of her own destiny and life," she explained. "Most of the people around a celebrity of that profile, magnitude, and stature are afraid to say things that they really feel."

She continued to The Sun : "So the health of that person can become jeopardised because no one is telling them they need to take a big break."

Ramona went on to encourage the Vogue hitmaker to rely solely on the advice of professionals, adding: "Professionals will not sugar coat it, but there are other people after that who will dilute the truth by saying other things."

Lastly, it was added that Madonna had to face the fact that she was getting older and "nothing is going to stop or reverse that".

The songstress was recently accused of having plastic surgery after sporting an "unrecognisable" look this year.

While she has denied going under the knife, many industry experts suspected that Madonna received numerous cosmetic procedures on her face, such as collagen implants, Botox and facial peels.

Meanwhile, further details are emerging of Madonna's scary dash to the hospital.

It was recently reported that she was found unresponsive in her home and needed to be injected with the drug Narcan to combat her life-threatening septic shock before receiving medical care.

Narcan is a drug that is often used to treat a narcotic overdose in an emergency situation, but it can also help patients experiencing septic shock as well.

Since the hospital visit, the singer has postponed "Madonna: The Celebration Tour", which was an almost sold-out worldwide seven-month tour including performances from her decades-long successful career.
