Madonna has raised eyebrows with her latest provocative photoshoot after she stripped down and posed next to a swanky toilet for a series of a new Instagram snaps.
The 64-year-old popstar posted the pictures on Saturday (August 27) after she had "locked herself" in the bathroom. Madonna wore a black strapless corset and fishnet tights as she lay beside the toilet.
She paired her look with black heels and matching fingerless gloves, while wearing plenty of silver necklaces. The Queen of Pop had her hair dyed pink and opted for minimal makeup.
Madonna also had a black and white jumper which she used as a pillow in one of the pictures.
Captioning the post, she wrote: "Sometimes you just have to lock yourself in the bathroom………" and added a toilet and white heart emoji.
Fans were divided over the snaps, with some fans voicing their concerns in the comments.
One person wrote: "Did she fall down in the bathroom?"
Another said: "sounds dangerous," while a third added: "Photo session by the toilet?!?! Really."
Other people were loving the snaps, with one person writing: "So beautiful my Queen!!!"
Another fan said: "In LOVE with your pink hair!! Seriously, that color and length suit you so well. ," with someone else writing: "I just don’t understand how you are so perfect."
The snaps come as Madonna recently revealed she regrets getting married twice as she reflected on her life in a candid YouTube video.
The songstress was honest with fans as she answered 50 questions they had sent in based on her upcoming album, career, guilty pleasures and biggest regrets.
She confessed that her marriages weren't the "best idea". The Holiday singer married Sean Penn in 1985 before splitting in 1989. She was later married to Guy Ritchie between 2000 and 2008.
She had previously admitted that she couldn't express herself as an artist during her second marriage.
Speaking to The Sun in 2015, Madonna said: "There were times I felt incarcerated. I wasn't really allowed to be myself. You've got to find someone who accepts who you are and is comfortable with that."
She has also claimed in the past she'd prefer to get "run over by a train" than walk down the aisle again.
