Made In Chelsea star and Love Island Aftersun regular Sam Thompson has announced he’s got a new TV project on the horizon where fans will see him be 'totally open up' as he investigates whether or not he has ADHD.
The reality TV star, 30, has a new documentary coming to E4 which will follow his journey as he attempts to find out if he has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder after years of 'feeling different' from everybody else.
After countless friends and family members have informed Sam that he exhibits signs of ADHD, the much-loved TV star has finally decided to take matters into his own hands, and has set out to get tested and explore what a possible diagnosis could mean for him.
The E4 documentary, called Sam Thompson: Is This ADHD? will see the reality star meet doctors, professionals and individuals diagnosed with ADHD as he learns more about the disorder before finding out whether he has it or not.
"As someone who has worked in television for nearly a decade, I’ve shared some of my most personal moments with the world," But nothing has come close to this," Sam has said about the upcoming project.
"This documentary is the most vulnerable I’ve felt in front of the camera, as I wanted to be totally open about how I react to people in situations, and whether these could be linked to ADHD.
"It has been an incredible, and at times, scary experience, but by exploring what’s been going on inside my head, I hope people can see that we should be more understanding before judging others.
"I also want to encourage people to learn more about themselves, and be proud of everything that makes them unique."
E4 Commissioning Editor Mel Bezalel also shared her enthusiasm for the upcoming documentary and teased what viewers can expect to see from Sam in the eye-opening TV project.
"Sam has essentially grown up on E4. He was 21 when he first appeared in Made In Chelsea, and we all love his energy, warmth and the creative chaos he brings into any room.
"The film’s exclusive access to Sam’s life as well as his creative brain make this an insightful but also entertaining documentary – and unmistakably E4."
