A man was threatened with a machete for his VW Golf during a terrifying carjacking.
The incident happened in New Hall Lane, in the Heaton area of Bolton, on Sunday night (January 16).
According to Greater Manchester Police (GMP) the driver of a white VW Golf GTI was threatened with a 'bladed article', before the car was stolen.

Manchester Evening News understands that the weapon used was a machete and that the suspect arrived in a small red SUV, along with at least three other people.
The driver was not injured but police are now appealing for witnesses and doorbell footage to help their investigation.
A GMP spokesman said: "Officers were called just before 9.50pm last night (16 January 2022) to a report of a theft of a motor vehicle on New Hall Lane, Bolton.
"A man was threatened by a male with a bladed article before having his white VW Golf taken.
"No one was injured.
"An investigation is on-going and a number of lines of enquiry are being carried out by officers."
