Mac Jones hilariously thought he scored 70-yard rushing TD in Pro Bowl. He did not.

New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones thought he scored an enormous rushing touchdown, taking off for a 70-yard rush in the Pro Bowl.

He … did not.

Jones sprinted past defenders and into the end zone where he celebrated with The Griddy. When he turned around after celebrating with the crowd, he seemed to realize the officials whistled him down — because the Pro Bowl has turned into a quasi-two-hand touch game.

As putrid of a game as the Pro Bowl was, Jones’ fake touchdown was one of the funnier and more entertaining moments. Jones actually scored a passing touchdown on a quick strike to Las Vegas Raiders receiver Hunter Renfrow. (Yes, Renfrow is slated to be a free agent in 2023.)

It feels like Jones was getting the lay of the land in 2021. Perhaps his second season might bring out more of Jones’ personality.
