M8 motorway horror as 30-year-old dies after ploughing into crash barrier

Police

A young man has died after his car crashed into the barriers M8 motorway yesterday.

The incident happened between Bishopton and Langbank at around 1.50am on May 22.

Police remained at the scene while both carriageways were closed near junction 31. Despite fellow motorists and witnesses to the crash rushing to the mans aid, he was sadly pronounced dead when emergency services arrived.
