A diversion is in place via the A38 after a serious crash between two lorries on the M5 this afternoon (April 29).
Both carriageways of the motorway are seeing delays of 90 minutes following the serious crash on the M5 northbound between J22 (Burnham-on-Sea) and J21 (Weston-super-Mare). The southbound carriageway was originally closed, but has now reopened.
However, congestion continues on the southbound carriageway following the earlier closure. There are 13 miles of queues.
