M&S fans say Easter treat is 'too cute to eat'

Marks and Spencer fans have hailed one of its Easter treats 'too cute to eat'.

While shoppers are regularly going wild for its Percy Pig and Colin the Caterpillar treats, this time it's a different animal grabbing the limelight.

Curly the Puppy is one of the characters in its new collection and is made with marbled white and milk chocolate.

Fans are so taken by the adorable cockapoo they say the £6 pooch is simply 'too cute to eat'.

"Aaawww how cute, too good to eat," declared one shopper in response to a photo of Curly on the M&S Facebook page.

"Love this, too cute to eat," said another, while a third added: "Don't think I could bring myself to eat this."

He's not the only one chocolate lovers are falling for though.

Walter the sausage dog is also proving popular, as are the other characters in the collection, which includes Chocosaurus Rex, Space Eggsplorer, Bunny Cool and Chickita the Chicken, all costing £6 each.

If chocolate's not your thing, there's an alternative treat in the form of the Shortbread Clucking Hen House, also £6, which does what it says on the tin.

It's a bit of a tight fit, but once you manage to get the lid off you'll hear the hens clucking away and find two bags of Easter egg-shaped biscuits.

And let's not forget the jazzed up version of the Percy Pig sweets that have launched for spring.

The Percy Pig Easter Party Time bag features multi-coloured versions of the pig along with some rabbits. There's a mixture of flavours including raspberry, peach, orange, strawberry, grape and lime.
