Lucky player scoops €364,000 in Lotto draw but misses out on €5m jackpot by one number

One lucky Irish player won life-changing sum in the Lotto but missed out on becoming a millionaire by one number.

There was no winner in Wednesday night's Lotto draw where the top €5 million prize went unclaimed.

The winning numbers in the Lotto were;7, 11, 20, 34, 36, 45 and the bonus number was 17.

One person matched five out of six winning numbers as well as the bonus ball and scooped an impressive prize of €364,219.. However, as they failed to match all six numbers they missed out on the top prize of €5,130,793.

In total, over 75,000 players won prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws.

In the Lotto Plus 1 draw the numbers drawn were; 1, 9, 10, 15, 23, 39, and the bonus ball was 24.

There was no winner and the top prize of €1,000,000 went unclaimed. However, one player managed to match five numbers and the bonus ball to claim a €5,000 prize.

In the Lotto Plus 2 the top prize of €250,000 also went unclaimed. The winning numbers drawn were; 3 14, 18, 28, 33, 34 and the bonus number was 2.

Separately, the winning raffle ticket number called was: 8368. There were 61 winners of the Raffle Prize who will each win €500.
