Neighbours from the Moortown area of Leeds are set for a memorable weekend after it was revealed their postcode sector - LS17 6 - is the winner of a £3.2 million prize through the People's Postcode Lottery.
Players will find out exactly how much they’ve won at a special event this coming Saturday (September 3) at Soldiers Field, when the full winning postcode will also be revealed.
The £3.2 million prize will be divided between each of the lottery’s players in the postcode sector. Those playing with the full winning postcode will take home the biggest cheques.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt will be at Soldiers Field on Saturday to present the winners with the good news in person.
She said: “I can’t wait to meet our Leeds winners and give them their very own golden envelopes. I think the whole community will be buzzing with excitement for the weekend right now and I’m sure there will be plenty of smiles on Saturday.”
The People's Postcode Lottery is a subscription service where you and your other subscribers on your street have the chance to win £1,000 every day and £30,000 every Saturday and Sunday.
The Postcode Lottery says: "Players sign up with their postcode and pay £10 per month. They are automatically entered into every draw and prizes are announced every day of the month."
At least a third of the revenue from ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £900m to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond. To find out more about the Postcode Lottery, click here.
