Lucknow: Autopsy reveals 22-year-old nurse died due to haemorrhage

LUCKNOW: Post-mortem examination of the body of 22-year-old nurse Rashi Kumari, found dead under mysterious circumstances in the basement of an apartment in Sushant Golf City, revealed 'shock and hemorrhage' as the cause of death, indicating that the woman fell to death from the 14th floor where her slippers were found.

Though police have lodged an FIR of murder on family's complaint, it is still not clear why she went to that place and whether somebody pushed her or she fell down on her own.

Assistant commissioner of police, Gosainganj, Swati Chaudhary told TOI that the autopsy also found multiple fractures in back bone, limbs and internal bleeding. "This shows that she fell from a high place. There were no visible serious head injuries apparently because the bag she was carrying dropped first and she landed on it. The bag saved the head from the impact," she said.
