Lucid Recalls 27,185 Air EVs Over Fire Risk, Tells Owners to Park Outside

Lucid is recalling an estimated 27,185 certain 2022–2026 Air electric vehicles because an exterior lighting circuit can overheat, increasing the risk of a fire. Lucid is recalling more than 27,000 Air electric vehicles because an electrical problem involving the exterior lighting system can cause a circuit to overheat, creating a fire risk.

The recall is significant enough that owners are being instructed to park outside and away from structures until the recall remedy has been completed.
