According to Mail Online, Everton are expressing an interest in signing Joao. It has been claimed that Dyche is keen on bringing the striker to Merseyside to strengthen his attacking options.
Joao has been with Reading since 2019, when he signed for the Royals from Sheffield Wednesday. The 29-year-old has since scored 43 goals in 107 appearances for the Championship club.
The striker started his career in Portugal with Nacional’s youth team. He progressed through their ranks before eventually featuring for the first team.
He would eventually move to England in 2015 to sign for Sheffield Wednesday. The Angola international spent the next four years in South Yorkshire, with a brief loan spell at Blackburn Rovers, before moving south to the Madejski Stadium nearly four years ago.
