Luca Connell has confirmed his Celtic departure after revealing things 'didn't go exactly as planned.'
The Hoops snapped up the midfielder from Bolton in 2019 but he never manged to make a first-team appearance for the Parkhead side.
He did enjoy two successful loan spells with Queen's Park - helping the Spiders win League Two and then win the play-offs to gain promotion to the Scottish Championship.
A return to the ambitious Southside outfit with Owen Coyle for a third spell seems unlikely with Connell bidding farewell to Glasgow in a heartfelt Instagram post.

"Thank you for making me feel so welcome, and thank you for all the continuous love.
"Glasgow will always be in my heart."
