Love It or List It viewers were surprised when a family appearing on the Channel 4 show also showed up in an advert during the commercial break.

Jabzz Mhlanga and wife Sarah enlisted the help of property experts Phil Spencer and Kirstie Allsopp in an episode shown on TV this week.

The couple, who have two children, went on the show for advice on whether they should spend £45,000 renovating their four-bed Cheshire home or put it on the market.
