Love Island winner Ekin-Su and Michael Flatley to appear on first Late Late Show of the season

RTE's The Late Late Show is set to return this Friday, September 2 with a line-up that is sure to draw a huge amount of viewers, including Riverdance legend Michael Flatley, Love Island winner Ekin-Su and Pat Spillane.

Ryan revealed this morning some of the familiar faces he will be chatting to as the beloved chat show returns for its new season after breaking for the summer.

Ryan is sure to ask Michael Flatley about Blackbird, the film in which he starred, directed and wrote.

Blackbird had its Irish premiere last night at the Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield and received mixed reviews. The flick follows a secret agent who abruptly retires from service and opens a luxurious nightclub in the Caribbean, at which an old flame arrives bringing danger with her.

Blackbird arrives in Irish cinemas this Friday, September 2.

Meanwhile, Late Late viewers will find out what Ekin-Su has been up to since her successful stint on Love Island.

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu won the eighth series of ITV's Love Island this year alongside her now boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti.

As well as her appearance on The Late Late Show, Ekin-Su is also in town to open the brand new BPerfect Mega Store in Blanchardstown this Saturday. The actress and reality star will be there from 12pm to cut the ribbon and fans will have the chance to get up and close to the Love Island champion.

Also joining Ryan this Friday is Pat Spillane, who recently called it quits as a Sunday Game analyst after 30 years. He'll chat to Ryan about his decision and what he plans to do since leaving the show.

Additionally, Tolu Makay will be in the studio to provide the music, performing with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra

The Late Late Show returns to RTE One this Friday, September 2 at 9.35pm.
