Gemma Owen's family are working tirelessly to help save her career following a backlash since the start of the eighth series of Love Island.
The 19-year-old daughter of ex-Liverpool legend Michael Owen, has been blasted by former stars of the show such as Marcel Somerville, Amber Gill, and Chloe Burrows, following her treatment of fellow star Liam Llewellyn.
Owen initially paired up with the 22-year-old masters student from South Wales, before moving onto Italian Stallion, Davide Sanclimenti - but during her first coupling up she was branded 'nasty' and 'rude' due to her attitude.

The Mirror reports that following a backlash, Gemma's family are working behind the scenes to try and boost her profile by the time she leaves the villa. The Love Island star's family have signed her up to the specialist PR agency which looks after former finalist Maura Higgins, 31, to boost her image.
After just three days in the villa, Off Limits Entertainment is now on board to look after Gemma’s image once she departs the show.
The agency already advises some of Love Island’s most successful stars including Maura, Shaughna Phillips, 28, Chris Hughes, 29, and Georgia Steel, 24.
It also looks after former boxers Amir Khan, 35, and Carl Froch, 44, and X Factor and I’m a Celebrity… contestant Jake Quickenden, 33.
It comes after Love Island's Liam Llewelyn's dad hit out at Gemma 'bad attitude' towards his son.
Former Wales International Rugby Union player David Llewelyn has jokingly revealed what he would say to footballer Michael Owen after fans claimed his daughter Gemma was 'rude' to Liam after they were coupled up on the show.
The strength and conditioning Master's student from south Wales and International Dressage Rider Gemma were put together by the public during the first episode of this year's series.
The nation has watched the pair get to know each other from home, but many were left unimpressed by Gemma's attitude towards Liam during the first few episodes.
On Heart South Wales, Liam's dad joked he would tell fellow sportsman Michael: "He's a footballer, I'm a rugby player, I hope he doesn't fall over when I shake his hand."
David went on to praise his son for being such a gentleman on the show.
He continued: "It's just a privilege to see him on there. He's such a charming young man. He's just a gem. He's such a kind-hearted soul. He'd light up any room in the world.
"Whether he wins or not he's a true gentleman and he's coming across lovely, he's a top young man."
